WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS WORK SESSION MEETING MINUTES July 24, 2002
The meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. by Chair Chester Pogonowski. In attendance were Vice Chair Jane Magne and Member Allen Masenheimer.
Also in attendance was Eileen M. Bradley, Township Administrator.
Consultant contracts for the Building Renovation/Addition Project would be finalized at the September 16 meeting. This included foundation inspections
by Earth Engineering Inc. and weekly site visits on an “as needed” basis by Donovan & Associates.
Middletown Grange Holding Tank Agreement was signed due to time constraints.
Toll/Hibbs: Traffic accident information was requested from Buckingham Police Department. Incident reports were requested for accidents on
Wrightstown Road, at the intersection of Wrightstown Road and Durham Road, and at the intersection of Stoopville Road at Durham Road.
Toll/Hibbs Extension Letters were signed due to time constraints. Extensions were granted through September 30, 2002.
CRSD Reapportionment: After reviewing all proposed plans, and in light of the vote of Council Rock School District, it was agreed to withdraw as
a party in the Reapportionment suit. Ms. Patrice Scully would file the appropriate paperwork.
Discussion commenced on a draft of a proposed Temporary Vehicle Sales Ordinance to be presented at the August 19 meeting. A draft of a
Disclosure Ordinance for the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance would be distributed to the Jointure.
PRD Revisions to Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance
were also discussed. It was agreed to attempt to remove the PRD (Planned Residential Development) sections from the Joint Municipal Zoning Ordinance.
Comcast Bonds: It was agreed to release the $100,000.00 construction bond in exchange for the $25,000.00 maintenance bond.
CDBG Grant Application was received in the office, with a submission deadline of October 10, 2002. Priority projects included development of the
Hipple Open Space Site, the Octagonal School, Fluehr Open Space Site, and creation of a CSA (Community Sponsored Agriculture) Program.
Stormwater Management Ordinance: The Environmental Advisory Committee was working on a draft ordinance to adopt best management practices into an
ordinance for Wrightstown. A Civil Engineer familiar with Wrightstown soils was needed. Inquiries would be made to find someone to assist with the technical aspects of the proposed ordinance.
There being no further business or comment, Mr. Masenheimer made a motion, seconded by Ms. Magne to adjourn at 7:35 p.m. All were in favor.
