WRIGHTSTOWN TOWNSHIP ROAD INSPECTION MEETING MINUTES APRIL 20, 2002
The Annual Road Inspection began at 8:00 am. In attendance were Chair Chester S. Pogonowski, Vice Chair Jane B. Magne and Member Allen G. Masenheimer,
Township Administrator Eileen Bradley, Roads Foreman Stephen Kraiss, Engineer Mario Canales of Pickering, Corts & Summerson.
Penn Oak Trail can be milled in place for the first 600 feet, with the remainder of the road to be oiled and chipped. Mr. Canales was to gather pricing
on this proposal.
An erosion problem was discovered at Thompson Mill Road. Mr. Canales was to work up a proposal to address the erosion. Mr. Kraiss would install
temporary delineators for safety.
Mr. Canales was to work up numbers for the filling of cracks and top coating and/or milling in place of Brownsburg Road.
It was decided that storm drainage of Pheasant Lane and Robin Road would be addressed and was a project that could be handled by the Roads Department.
Mr. Kraiss would draw up a proposal for both sides of Robin Road. Ms. Bradley would check on the Rights-of-Way as well.
The Wicen Tract would be cleared of some vegetation to assist in promoting better drainage. Ms. Bradley would research the cost of having monuments
installed delineating the boundaries of the property.
Mr. Canales would review last year’s proposal for repaving Cherry Lane.
Deeper drainage ditches for Penns Park Road would be installed by the Roads Department, as well as minor drainage work on Mud Road and Brownsburg Road.
Penns Park Road Cedar Lane would need to be re-striped prior to the ensuing bridge opening. An inventory of additional roads that needed striping would
be done by the Roads Department, to be accomplished this season.
Ms. Bradley would research the possibility of dredging the Ridge Avenue pond and the Anchor Run Creek.
There being no further business or discussion, the inspection was adjourned at 10:30 am.
Respectfully Submitted,
Eileen M. Bradley Township Administrator
